Photograph of Todd on Kaleidoscope (5.13c) I took at the Red this past weekend. It was really inspiring seeing him on the route.
Spent yesterday out at Horse Pens, took a couple peanut butter & banana sandwiches to recharge and just climbed as much as possible. Should definitely lock down a few problems to focus on, but there is so much out there to try! Next trip I’ll definitely have a more precise plan of what I want to finish. Side note: every time I start to feel a little stronger from indoor training, I go outside and get my ass kicked to remind me of where I’m really at. Feeling that soreness right about now.
Took this at about 1 A.M., walking up the street from my apartment, earlier in January when the “Alabama Blizzard” hit. Not only was the amount of snow surreal, but the brightness of the sky was as well.
Took this photo in October on a little day trip to Hartselle, AL to this peach farm that grows pumpkins seasonally. The crop wasn’t as good this year though. Still, small trips like this put a smile on my face and give me a break from the usual scenery.
I was skeptical at first. Didn’t want to spend money on something that may not produce results. Definitely waited long enough. Can’t imagine life without analog photographs. So I splurged, which I’m fortunate enough to do thanks to my family and friends. I purchased 1 box of both the Impossible PX 100 Silver Shade and PX 70 Color Shade Push!. That’ll give me 8 exposures of each, which quite frankly will probably make me anxious. I have a feeling I’ll want every shot perfect. None the less, I’m stoked.
